We are now offering two options for processing at Slagel Meats. Standard cut processing would be cut the same each time and would not allow any changes/customization to be done.
It is the customer’s responsibility to notify us by calling 815-657-8160 if the custom cut option will be chosen.
The deadline for hog instructions is 5:00pm the day the hogs are dropped off by the farmer. Beef instructions are due 1 week after the beef are dropped off by the farmer. The standard cut option will automatically be assumed if we have not received cutting instructions by the deadlines above.
